“ Great village pub, with lovely staff who are very welcoming. They do take away menu as well as sit in and our favourite is the made from scratch Pizzas which are amazing. We had a selection for our party and there was not a slice left. Especially good is the beef Madras pizza yum yum. Highly recommended x ”
“ Have been here many times and always had a good meal with great service. Their pizzas are to die for, and roasts are fab, but then I also love their steaks lol This lovely cosy village pub is welcoming and their beer garden is great! Plenty of seating, with gnomes and gonks to keep you company, amidst the local characters. Definitely worth the drive and yes they have a car park. ”
“ We love The Artichoke! Sam and Mark are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble - the service is always excellent. The food is quality pub-style food and very good value. The pizzas are particularly good - we have one pretty much every Friday evening! ”
“ Love my village pub! Always so friendly and inviting especially with my dog Frank. The food is on another level, not what you’d expect from a little village pub! The fish and chips are delicious but my fave is the NewYorker chicken burger! And their chips what can I say! Amazing pub, amazing people and even better food. Xx ... ”
“ We enjoyed a lovely meal and some drinks at the artichoke inn. We arrived just when the kitchen was closing but we were still served. Had a large jumbo fish and chips with mushy peas, a couple of gin and tonics and some pints. The atmosphere was very nice, staff was friendly and the bill was fair. ”
“ What a hidden gem. Country pub, just been refurbished and under new management, and it is beautiful, with an open fire. Festive menu was great, the food was amazing, we were a family of 6 and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was exceptional, Plenty of options on the drinks menu too and free parking. Felt very welcomed, and all in all was a brilliant night. Definitely be back again. ”
“ Have had many a pizzas here and also great burgers. They cater well for Gluten Free too which is outstanding. You can’t beat the Spicy Pepperoni Pizza with extra chicken or the 6oz Steak Cheeseburger. Both my favorites and it’s always decision decisions! ”
